This is an internal document that outlines how the company implements the requirements of the FSC®standard. There is no fixed template or required title – it can simply be a collection of documents that together form the company’s system. The documentation should include, among other things:
how FSC® products are identified and labeled,
the procedures for receiving and dispatching products (e.g., in the warehouse),
which FSC® control system is applied (transfer, percentage, or credit system – if applicable),
who is responsible for overseeing the system and liaising with the certification body,
what records are maintained (e.g., invoices, logs, FSC® sales reports),
how the company ensures operational compliance with the standard (e.g., employee training, document control).
Such documentation typically spans a few pages and should be tailored to the company’s actual operations. The auditor will review it during the audit and use it to assess whether the system meets the certification requirements.
For example, in a way that clearly distinguishes them from non-certified products. This may include labeling, marking in the inventory system, or physical separation in the warehouse.
This can be done through dedicated storage areas, distinct labeling, or appropriate entries in the accounting or ERP system.
Such as invoices, summaries, material sheets, or other documents that enable traceability of raw material origin and confirm that the product has retained its FSC® status throughout the supply chain (so-called “chain of custody”).
Our role includes preparing the offer, conducting the audit, and handling the formal aspects of your application. We do not provide consulting services or prepare documentation, but we will clearly explain the requirements and guide you through the entire procedure.
