Implement processes and procedures to implement environmental policies and plans. This includes resource management, employee training, internal and external communications, and operational control.
Monitoring and Measurement
Regularly monitor and measure key environmental performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of the environmental management system. This includes conducting internal audits.
Management Review
The organization's management must regularly review the ESM to ensure its adequacy, effectiveness and compliance with environmental policies and objectives. This review should lead to continuous improvement of the system.
